It has been quiet some time that we (Guna,Saravanaram and me) had gone for a weekend ride and hence decided to hit the road last Sunday.Shivanhalli was the destination.People visiting the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram would most probably be aware of this place.For those who are not aware the directions goes like this - after reaching Bannerghatta, proceed towards the road that leads to Hosur road for another 2-3km.On the right hand side you get a board showing the directions to Ramakrishna Mission,Shivanhalli.Take a right turn there and proceed another 11 km to reach Shivanahalli.There is nothing specific that I am aware at Shivanhlli,but the route from the main road to shivanahalli includes a forest trail.I believe this road is used only by people of Shivanahalli,which means the traffic is scarce.

With a cloudy weather,it was a ride to remember.So Bikers from Bangalore who are looking for a pleasant ride,this is one place you just can’t miss.More photos of the ride are here.

People who are about to watch or already have watched Kamal Hassan’s Dasavatharam , make it a point to read these two concepts - Chaos theory and Butterfy effect. ‘Coz the movie is based on these and if you don’t understand these concepts your movie watching experience may not be as good as it could have been.To give a preface on Chaos theory,it is one where long term predictions are not possible.Weather is a very good example where you can’t predict it exactly or also your future in this world . My Review:Not one of kamal’s best movie.

The BIAL has just announced that it has got an notification from the ministry of Civil Aviation to postpone the opening of the new international airport from 00.01 hours of 23rd May 2008 to 00.01 hours of 24th May, 2008.At last the Indian Goverment have learnt their lessons when it comes to respecting legends.The inauguration day coincides the 26th Birthday of this legend.Praful..Good work..Will keep this in mind.

With just around 400 km of biking and Rs 5700 worth investment, the problems I see with this bike doesn’t seem to settle the equation.Also I have been constanly hitting the firefox service center here in jayangar ,Bangalore for some trouble or other with the bike.Firefoz advertises it as an All terrain bike. Wht the heck?Now i wonder if its better to buy 2 heroes inplace of one all-hype-no-performance Firefox fusion.Adding to this the service center says they don’t provide warranty for these damaged parts.DAMN…

Subramania Iyer (founder of THE HINDU) says the Aryans are from the Indus valley who were avid fighters who waged war with the inhabitants,won the wars against everyone on their way south and at last settled here in TN which they called HOME.

Pundit Joythee Doss (Tamil Scholar) says the Aryans were losers from the vanga country (Bengal?) who waged war against the buddhists (paryars of TN) ,cheated them in perception that they were sons of GOD and got settled in TN.

Now which one is true here? But one thing common between both these fellas is that they says the aryans are not the original inhabitants of TN
